PotRemote is a free iOS app for PotPlayer that works as remote control and allows you to control the video player from comfort of your couch. PotRemote connects with the PotServer on your Windows via Wi-Fi network and enables you to control PotPlayer using iPhone/iPad. The design philosophy of PotRemote is a simplistic, which offers all the essential video playback features on your remote device. It provides full HD support for iPad retina and iPhone5 displays and allows portrait and landscape orientation on iPad.
To get started, you need PotPlayer (media player) and PotServer to install and run on your Windows computer, then launch the PotRemote on your iOS device. PotRemote app will do a quick scan to find the PotServer in its local area network and connect with it. You will be able to play, pause, stop, PotPlayer video playing on your computer, control the volume, seek position, next and previous track, toggle subtitles on/off, and cycle through various full-screen modes.
